Frequently Asked Questions

Our eight-week programme helps young people understand how artificial intelligence works, explore its opportunities and risks, and develop the confidence to use AI responsibly. Through practical activities and real-world examples, learners develop skills that will support them in education, employment and everyday life.

The programme is designed for young people aged 15 to 20, whether they are studying at school, college or learning independently. No previous knowledge of AI is required.

The programme runs over eight weeks, with each session lasting approximately 40 minutes. Every week explores a different aspect of AI, building knowledge and confidence as learners progress.

You’ll explore how AI works, how it learns from data, why it sometimes makes mistakes and how to recognise unreliable information. You’ll also discover the importance of privacy, fairness and responsible AI use, helping you make informed decisions about technology.

Not at all! The programme is designed to be accessible to beginners. You don’t need coding skills or technical knowledge, just curiosity and a willingness to learn.

The programme offers two learning options. Schools can deliver sessions in the classroom using structured teaching resources and practical activities, while individual learners can follow an equivalent digital learning programme independently.

The programme is designed to recognise learners’ achievements through assessment and evidence of learning. The final certification requirements will be confirmed before the programme launches.
